Who we are

The Balfour Founders Club is operated by Hush Heath LLP, trading as Balfour Winery, registered office 73 Cornhill, London, EC3V 3QQ (company number OC382028), operating from Five Oak Lane, Staplehurst, Kent, TN12 0HT. When this policy says “Balfour”, “we”, or “us”, it means this company. This policy covers the Balfour Founders Club app and membership only — our main website at balfourwinery.com has its own privacy policy.

What data we collect

Account information — the email address you sign up with, and, if you choose to add them, your name and date of birth.
Profile photo — if you upload one, it is reviewed before it appears on your card.
Reward activity — rewards you activate or redeem at participating venues, and the venue and time this happens.
App activity — pages visited and features used within the app, used to understand how the club is used and to diagnose technical issues.
Device information — app version and operating system.

How we use your data

To operate your Founders Club account and membership card.
To apply rewards you activate at participating venues, including via our point-of-sale partner Zonal.
To send you transactional messages, such as sign-in codes and, if you opt in, transaction receipts.
To send you club-related communications, where you have opted in.
To improve the app and diagnose technical issues.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising outside of Balfour venues and the Founders Club.

How long we keep your data

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we anonymise your personal information straight away, except where we are required to retain records for legal or tax purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time.

To delete your Founders Club account and all associated personal data, sign in to the app and use the delete account option in Account Settings.
